I need to have the price of an item depend on the value of a text field. Example: the price for a wiget is $10.00 but if you want the wiget 30 inches long the price is $10.00 + $.05 per inch over 20 inches. I found out how to do the text entry but dont know how to do the calculations. BTW This shopping cart is realty a great peace of code !!

I figured it out. May not be the best way to do it but it seems to work. If you have a similar problem take a look at
http://www.altarlinens.com/ I will be happy to share any code you find useful.

OH so cool:)!!! how did you do that??? I especially like how the price changes on the catalog page when you choose from menu. And how did you make the price change when user types in different numbers.
Please, you have to share how you did that:)!
"PS: will that code work for regular HTML?"
