That part works fine for me...of course I don't have the

ChangestrILabel function to re-write the cookie with the new Product ID number.

Maybe that is the part that is giving you grief!

dose any ony know how to do this? or where to put it in the nopcart
can use the qty funtion jus copy and paste it then change the lable
i can tseem to identify this section in the nop cart and even if i did where i could put it to make it work

what happening at the moment the original information is going through to the checkout page even though i have a text box in the mangen cart page the updated information is not getting passed through to checkout
has any one got any ideas please?

the text bow now says undifined when you enter info but at least the undifined yext transfers to checkout

You have the right idea..only one error:

you start the function with

but when you rewrite the cookie, you use a different variable:
