My e-commerce Web site using NOP Cart has been working to my expectations for months now. Thanks to all who have helped along the way. Just one infrequent and perplexing problem.
Every so often I receive an order via email that is blank...that is, the field labels are there but no field data. I have the cart set up so that orders cannot be sent out without all of the order information and ordered items correctly inputted. I have also tested the cart by placing test orders from a number of different computers platforms and using a variety of Web browsers. All of these orders have gone through without a hitch.
So...what would cause a blank email to arrive infrequently? Maybe once every month or so this will happen. Is this coming from a spidering of my Web site, is it a problem at my end, or could someone actually be able to send an order and their data not be transferred through the email (knowingly or unknowingly)?
I will be grateful to hear from anyone who can help, or from others who have had similar problems.
