shopping cart doesn't work in google chrome

I am dutch, so my english is not perfect.
I want to use this for my site.
The site is running in internet explorer and google chrome but when i want to use the shopping cart internet explorer works fine.
But when i use the cart in google chrome the cart stays empty when i put something in it.
I have read that i must have javascript to use the site. But why doesn't it work in google chrome then. What am i doing wrong?
Or is the site only for internet explorer then...
