KFL KustomKart
Purchase Control

This cart has the ability to use a "INVENTORY MANAGEMENT BACKEND" , to control purchases based on inventory levels. Inventory levels are adjusted during purchase, allowing one of a kind or limited quantity items not to be "oversold"! Regular stock items need not pass thur the purchase control process.

Included is the PERL Inventory Control Module & PERL Checkout Module.

Note: This cart also contains a custom managecart page for B2B purchases, you may enter "67214" for ZipCode to see this modifcation in action!

The KFL KustomKart Series is based on and uses code supplied by NOP Design 's Javascript FreeCart

Hello Stefko I would like the stock.cgi file, if you have it handy. Please send it to my email (warzone@frontiernet.net) or post it on the forums.

Many Requests

Here's the deal!

I'm still working on inprovements to the script, you want to use it. Fine!!
Then we colabarate!

What do you have to offer, knowledge of javascript and/or perl, your site as a working example, an excuse for me to play on the computer?
This is a e-commerce solution I offer to clients for a fee, but I am willing to hand it over to NOP Users at no charge to assist in its further development.

The Inventory Modulde can be "progammed" several different ways! Don't allow purchases if inventory is depleted, advise that this item is on back-order, no purchase control just inventory management ect...

How do you want to use it!

Also there is a Inventory Management Control Panel, which is password protected for your access to the inventory database. It uses a FlatFile DataBase so any server can use it!
Also you can view recent purchases, view and adjust inventory levels and set Items as NON-RESTOCKABLE or RESTOCKABLE.

To avoid problems and errors, and a load of "what do I do now's" I would ask that I configure the scripts frist, get it running with some of your product code for the database and then pass it on to you!

All that I ask is can I view your website (URL), and what do you want it to do!!

Great Inventory MOD!!

Postby LaFemme » Wed Jun 30, 2004 8:32 am

He Stefko,

Great working inventory mod!! I'm really interested in this mod and i want to implement it on my website (http://www.la-femme.nl). All the products on my website are unique, so they can be ordered only ones. What i want is when someone orders product LFK0001 for example, the inventory changes the stock of this product from 1 to 0. It would also be great after someone ordered this product the price in the shop will automatically changed into "Sold" and the order button will not work anymore. This will prevent a second customer to order the same product, which is already sold.

Could you help me with this feature? You can use my website as a working example of your inventory mod, if you want.

Thnx,
Pieter

I am also interested in this stefko.

At the moment I am working on the basic cart and will be uploading it in the next few days for a customer.

I am not using any cgi as yet, only nopcart.js and forms.

Can you let me know what changes I need to consider so I can think through my approach and then start talking to you.
